Michael A. Calabrese is a California Licensed General Contractor (California State License #496208). He is certified through the Mold Inspection Consulting and remediation Organization (MICRO) as a mold inspector (CMI#79243) and certified mold remediation contractor (CMRC#79162).
He began his career in the construction business as a young man after relocating to California from New York. His experience began by starting from the very bottom of the chain as a laborer.
His hands-on experience in remodeling, rehab and restoration spans across several trades. This multi-faceted experience fostered a deeper understanding of how each trade worked.
He became proficient in carpentry, drywall, painting, various repairs, such as stucco, tile, roofs, siding, floors, fundamental plumbing and electrical, concrete, and sheet metal, to name some.
Mr. Calabrese served as a panelist on the Contractor's State License Board's Arbitration program, Industry Expert Progam and Earthquake Response Team.
Under a part-time vocational teaching credential, he edited and taught a course preparing individuals to take the California State exam to become licensed.
